Our Service has Locum Radiographers which were engaged via Pure Healthcare Group and both have settled into the teams well with minimal support and training required. I am writing regarding an application made by the above to supply nursing staff to
organisations within NHS Scotland. My organisation has been utilising staff supplied by Mr Carter for
some years now.

As a manager responsible for large scale laboratory services in NHS Scotland, and
also, in my previous roles in London, I have utilised staff supplied by agencies for many years. Mr
Carter when he approached me was keen to understand the nature and scope of the difficulties
faced within my service – rural environment, geographical challenges, recruitment and retention of
both substantive and agency staff, financial pressures – and was keen to visit to aid that learning
exercise. Uniquely (in my experience) amongst suppliers of agency staff he then was able to match

competitive price and with efficient booking and invoicing systems supporting his operation. This has
allowed us to keep the smaller laboratories functioning, thereby supporting the hospitals in which
they are situated. My senior management team and I have always enjoyed working with Mr Carter
as a result and are grateful for his professionalism in partnering with us to ensure both continuity
and quality of service in all our laboratories.

efficient medical professional workers providers.
His efficiency, professionalism, and availability to provide, 24/7 service, has been highly appreciated
whenever we struggled to cover the shortage in our staff requirements. We have relied on his help
to cover last minute shifts in our RGN, HCA and RMO’s and he has been able to provide good quality
staff within minutes to few hours from the time of the request was made.
